Booster Organization

There is always plenty of work to be done to keeping the band running smoothly — that’s where our Band Boosters come in.

The Jeffersonville High School Band Booster Organization is a group of parents and supporters who help our kids succeed.  The band parents, as we affectionately call them, take on many roles while their child is enrolled in the program.  Making flags, sewing uniforms, selling concessions, hauling semi-trailers, writing grants, and running board meetings are just a few of the roles our band moms and band dads take on in the organization.

We encourage all parents to get involved.  Your support in one of our annual fundraisers or events could help lower your band fees, but, more importantly, being a Band Booster will give you the opportunity to spend time with your high school student in one of the few places where it is still “cool” for their parents to be involved.

Want to be a Booster? Meetings are the second Thursday of the month at 7pm in the band room with the exception of July (Band Camp) and December (Holidays) in which no meetings are held.  The meetings are always open to new faces who want to be involved.
